An endorsement is just an insurance-y way of saying “change to your policy.”
Requests, such as a change of business address or ownership, or changes to the policy itself, can take up to 7-10 business days to process with your carrier.
You’ll receive an endorsement document from your carrier once the change is completed. (This could be via either email or snail mail, depending on the carrier and your preferences.)
If yours is a direct bill policy, you’ll receive a bill if you owe anything after the endorsement goes through. If your payment is lower than before, you’ll be credited.
Or, if you have a pay-as-you-go policy, the additional cost of your endorsement will be added to your annually estimated premium, and divided between all payroll premiums we bill during your active policy term.
