Every state has annual dates and timelines where carriers can submit for rate changes based on the industry as a whole. Sometimes the rates go up, sometimes down.
Carriers typically review policies 30-60 days before renewal, and they sometimes adjust the rates based on any number of factors — claims filed by your business, losses in the industry as a whole, experience modifications from your state, class codes, state discounts, dividends, etc.
Your carrier will send the renewal policy to you in the mail 30-60 days before renewal. If they’ve made any changes to your policy, they’ll show up in this document.
If you need or want to make any changes to your policy yourself, the fastest and easiest way is to contact us (NEXT, formerly AP Intego) and ask us to review your new policy. We’re happy to discuss it with you!
