You can appeal an audit if you disagree with the results.
Your first step should be to get in touch with us (NEXT, formerly AP Intego). Our dedicated audit team members are your advocates, so tell us what you think is wrong and we’ll help figure out:
- what caused the variance in the first place, and
- which documentation you’ll need for your appeal.
We can also send some of the documentation to the carrier for you.
When an audit is being disputed, the audit debits will be placed on hold.
There are a few aspects of an audit that cannot be disputed, such as the minimum policy premium and the short rate penalty, etc.
If your carrier asks for a physical audit, you’ll have to set it up yourself, but we can still help with the documentation-gathering piece.
