What does workers’ comp insurance cover?

Workers’ comp covers medical expenses, lost wages, and rehabilitation costs if an employee is injured or contracts an occupational disease. It also covers death benefits (including funeral expenses) if the worker dies.

If the owner(s) are included in the coverage, they can also be covered under the policy.
